Brett is a Process Engineer who specialises in process design and the development of metallurgical test-work programmes. Additionally he has completed project studies from desktop to scoping and up to definitive feasibility studies. His degree in Chemistry gives him a different perspective on the mineralogical problems that may be encountered during a testwork program and the processing of an ore. Brett is proficient in the design of metallurgical testplans at all project stages, mass and heat balances, PFD construction, capital and operating cost estimations and process design. He is skilled in process simulation utilising industry standard software packages as well as various in house methods to confirm process design parameters.
Brett is quite comfortable with working on intellectually sensitive technologies and projects with experience in a number of different commodities. He has worked on numerous projects worldwide for different commodities such as gold, lithium, vanadium, magnetite, titanium, cobalt, manganese, copper, Carbon Capture and Utilisation (CCU), potassium sulphate, and ‘green’ geopolymeric products.
